Does this mean I can finally join Barbie and the Rockers?

Thanks to a nomination* from my dear friend Lindsay, I am apparently a 'Blog Rockstar'.

I was wondering what this was all about, and what privileges such a title would bring me. Until I went outside to drive to volleyball this morning, and there was a limo waiting for me! And inside was a huge, delicious breakfast with a generous side of the best bacon in all the land.

Ok, no - not really. What it really means is that I must prove myself to everyone, and tell you why I'm a rockstar. So, here I go:

1) First and foremost (and just like Lindsay), I have an AMAZING entourage. The people that surround me, and that are part of my life are the very best.

2) I drive a car that's classified by my insurance company as a station wagon. But in that station wagon is a great sounding stereo, and a not-so-great sounding singer in the drivers seat. But no one can hear through the closed windows, right? RIGHT?

3) Purple is my favourite colour right now, and I just happen to think that's a pretty rock star colour. Deep Purple, Purple Rain...I rest my case.

4) I may be deathly afraid of the karaoke mic, but get me Rockband and a group of people willing to sing/stare at notes to hit with me, and I'm there.

5) My childhood idol was Cindy Lauper. To the point where I actually locked myself in the bathroom at age 4, managed to use my mom's coloured hairspray from Halloween and completely cover my blonde hair in blue and red. I came out dressed in layers of the brightest dresses I had, as well as every piece of play jewelry I could find. I then proclaimed, "I'm Cindy Lauper!"

Okay, so hopefully I've proved that I'm worth the title. Now, I have to pass the title onto others. After thinking long and hard about this - I'm nominating the aforementioned Salt, a hilarious, soon-to-be-bride that definitely rocks. And Steph, for the same reason Lindsay nominated me - to get her writing something!
